The 2025 Routes
BORINAGE- Avril 2025
Located between the city of Mons and the French border, the Borinage region is full of stories and mysteries.
By traversing these lands, the Breakaway pays tribute to its natural heritage and glorious industrial past. Without a doubt, it’s the most unusual route of the season, featuring forests, spoil tips, and countryside.
EIFFEL - May 2025
In the heart of the German-speaking part of Belgium, the Breakaway gains elevation in the Eifel massif. Less frequented than the High Fens park to the north, this region is filled with breathtaking panoramas, mysterious forest roads, and charming villages.
Watch out for your legs; it's the first climbing stage of the season!

PAJOTTENLAND - June 2025
If the Pajottenland is nicknamed the 'Tuscany of the North,' it's because of its rolling hills, where countless trails wind like serpents.
But did you also know that 'Pajotteland' means 'Land of Comrades' in the local dialect? In short, a great excuse to plan an outing with friends. For the more athletic, it’s also a chance to score points by climbing the legendary Muur van Geraardsbergen.
LUXEMBOURG - July 2025
After three months of training, it's time to take on the peaks of the southern part of the country and our neighbor Luxembourg.
On the winding and remote roads of the Ardennes, lovers of wide-open spaces will be in for a treat. The route takes you through forgotten villages and allows for the discovery of several taverns with timeless charm.

ZÉLANDE - August 2025
Starting from a typical local inn, the peloton will explore the islands of Zeeland. An exceptional natural landscape featuring remote beaches, rugged coastal trails, and picturesque villages.
While the mild August weather should allow you to enjoy the coastal charm, beware of the wind you'll have to face when crossing from one island to another!
BORINAGE- September 2025
Located between the city of Mons and the French border, the Borinage region is full of stories and mysteries.

KEMPEN - Septembre 205
To gently kick off the Breakaway season, the peloton escapes to Campine. With its sandy soil and pine trees piercing the sky, the region at times resembles the Atlantic coast.
The riders will navigate, wind at their backs, through the trails of the 'cycling paradise.' Their goal is to explore some must-see paths, including the lunar landscapes of Hoge Kempen National Park. A guaranteed favorite!
Arrival Villages
After the effort comes comfort. At the end of each route, an exceptional venue opens its doors and offers the riders a local specialty to taste.
An opportunity to visit a brewery, discover an abbey, dive into an unsuspected pond, or simply enjoy a coffee on the terrace of an old cycling café.
